As a surf instructor from Milan with a taste for luxury experiences, I recently had the opportunity to stay at The Avenida Palace Hotel in Lisbon. The hotel's prime location near the train station and metro, lined with charming cafes and restaurants, provides convenience and vibrancy.Upon arrival, I found the staff to be efficient and courteous, quickly checking us in without much interaction. The interior, although a bit dated, exuded a classic charm, while the room, albeit small. The amenities such as in-room breakfast and a well-stocked mini-bar added to the comfort of our stay.The hotel's services like valet parking and laundry were convenient, while the bar and lounge area provided a cozy spot for evening relaxation. The fitness center was a welcomed addition for keeping active during the stay. However, the lack of on-site dining options was a drawback, especially for longer stays.In terms of value for money, The Avenida Palace Hotel offers a good balance of luxury and cost-effectiveness. While it may not match the lavishness of a true five-star hotel, its charm, attentive staff, and central location make it a solid choice for a comfortable and convenient stay in Lisbon.
